1 Peter 1:8-9
“Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”
It is enough simply to know you are loved in an inexplicable and unerring fashion o realize that you are worth more than you value in yourself. To stop and take a moment to realize that your Father loves you so much that there is never anything you can possibly do to escape it, that realization can change your life. Take a moment and breathe in the satisfaction that God will never lose interest in you. He will always love you, even if you do not feel worthy of love or have done things you wish no one will ever find out about. That is the power of God’s unchanging love. What is even more incredible is the promise from 1 Peter 1:8, that if only you acknowledge the one who loves you in a way you can never love yourself, you can and will obtain the outcome of your faith, salvation. It always blows my mind how simple it is to be loved and pursued by the Maker of the Universe. Take a moment and meditate on the incredible joy you can have in the knowledge of simply being loved and accepted by a God you knows everything you have done; but says to you, “I love you anyway.” I gave a small verse to reflect on, because sometimes it doesn’t take so many words to say what we really mean.
